Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g fish fillet(s) (e.g. cod)
  • 150 g fresh leaf spinach
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 1 small zucchini
  • butter
  • Salt
  • Spice(s), to taste

Insulin-based food combining recipe (high-protein for the evening)

Cut the fish fillet into strips. Wash the spinach leaves and zucchini, and slice the zucchini. Then place the fish fillet, spinach, and zucchini in alternating layers in a baking dish. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the fish fillet. Sprinkle the butter in small pieces between the layers. Season the dish to taste with salt and spices. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes.
