Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large rolls (hamburger buns)
- 600 g minced beef
- 1 egg(s)
- e.g. iceberg lettuce
- n. B. onion(s)
- Sauce (barbecue sauce)
- Sauce (Hamburger Sauce)
- n. B. cheese
- salt and pepper
- e.g. salad
- cup of tomato(s)
- possibly bacon
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, add a beaten egg, and knead everything well. Form the mixture into four meatballs. Place the balls between sufficient foil and use a large board to form them into one large patty. It can be quite large, as flat as possible; it will shrink back in the pan. Fry on both sides, then place the cheese on the patties and let it melt slightly. Depending on your taste, you can now place fried onions or already roasted onions on the patties. Cut the hamburger buns in half and toast them in the toaster. Spread the underside with hamburger sauce. Now top each bun with the patty and cheese, then add lettuce and tomato. Then add barbecue sauce on top; I like Bulls Eye sauce. It also tastes good with some fried bacon in between.
