Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g carrot(s)
- 250 g potatoes
- 80 g walnuts, chopped
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp flour (whole grain)
- 1 tsp orange peel, grated
- 1 pinch(s) of iodized salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable fat
- 100 g crème fraîche
- Cinnamon and sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Wash, trim, and grate the carrots and potatoes. Mix them with the chopped walnuts, eggs, whole-wheat flour, orange zest, and iodized salt. Form the mixture into patties. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the carrotinis until golden brown. Mix the crème fraîche with the cinnamon sugar and spread over the finished carrotinis.
