Russian Potato Pancakes

The perfect russian potato pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Pc. Potatoes
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Mustard powder
  • 1 tsp Sea-Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper
  • 50 g Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Red caviar
  • Spring onions
  • Parsley
  1. Peel and roughly grate the potatoes.
  2. Mix with the lightly beaten egg, flour, mustard powder, sea salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the ghee in a coated pan.
  4. Put the potato dough in the pan, tablespoon at a time, and press lightly. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
  5. Serve with sour cream and caviar, garnish with spring onion rings and parsley.
