Shuba Beetroot Salad with Herring

The perfect shuba beetroot salad with herring recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pc. Carrots
  • 2 Pc. Beetroot tubers
  • 4 Pc. Eggs
  • 0,5 Pc. Onion red
  • 1 Pc. Herring fillet
  • 2 tsp Mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh dill
  • Salmon caviar
  • Edible flowers
  1. Peel the two carrots and the beetroot tubers. Cook separately in salted water until cooked through.
  2. Hard-boil the eggs.
  3. Coarsely grate the cooked carrots and beetroot on a grater, as well as the hard-boiled eggs.
  4. Finely dice the red onion, cut the herring fillet into cubes.
  5. To serve, divide the onion cubes into two glasses, top with the herring. Place the carrot and beetroot strips on top, spread the mayonnaise on top. Spread the grated eggs on top, season with salt and pepper. Finally, decorate with dill, salmon caviar and edible flowers.
