Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 eggplant(s)
  • 2 small zucchini
  • 250 ml béchamel sauce
  • 100 g processed cheese
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda) for topping
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • chili

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the macaroni in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. In the meantime, wash the eggplant, zucchini, and tomatoes and slice them thinly. Heat the béchamel sauce and the processed cheese in a small saucepan. Season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili. Place half of the pasta in a baking dish. Spoon the vegetables over the pasta and then cover with the remaining pasta. Spread the cheese béchamel sauce over the pasta. Sprinkle the cheese over the casserole. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 150°C (convection oven) until the cheese is lightly browned. Serve hot.
