Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 ½ kg potatoes
- 200 g mayonnaise
- 100 g natural yogurt
- 200 g gherkins
- some cucumber juice
- ½ apple, grated
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 pinch of mustard
- some salt
- some pepper
- some sweet paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes
with mayonnaise, but different
Boil the potatoes unpeeled until tender. In the meantime, chop the gherkins into small pieces. Then, combine the mayonnaise, yogurt, and pickle juice to make a marinade and season with ketchup and the spices. Peel the potatoes and cut into approximately 0.5 cm thick slices. Pour the marinade over the still-warm potatoes and mix with the grated apple and the gherkin. Let it marinate thoroughly. Ideally, overnight.
