Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g spaetzle
- 450 g creamed spinach
- 2 Mettwurst sausages
- 1 pack of cream
- Cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
tasty and quick
Cook the spaetzle according to the instructions and drain. In the meantime, warm the spinach and season with grated nutmeg, if desired. Slice the mettwurst. Place the spaetzle in a shallow baking dish (or use a baking sheet if you’re making double the amount), spread the spinach over the top. Place the mettwurst slices on top. Pour the cream over the top and sprinkle with the cheese (we prefer Gouda). Bake at approximately 200°C (400°F) top/bottom heat for 25-30 minutes.
