Casserole – Gratin

Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Lightly fry the onions in the herb butter, then add the carrots and sauté both for about 10 minutes. Then add the tomato paste, salami, and ham and fry briefly. Add the peas, milk, cream, and vegetable stock and bring everything to a boil. Season to taste, stir in the parsley and pasta, and transfer everything to a sufficiently large casserole dish. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the oven at 250°C for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is nicely browned. Vegetarians can replace the salami and ham with vegetables for a great and simple vegetarian dish. Of course, other vegetables and mushrooms can also round out the dish.
