Creamy pasta bake with Parmesan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g chicken
  • 600 g pasta
  • 300 ml cream
  • 500 ml meat broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 pack of Parmesan cheese

Baking time is about 20 minutes. Brown the chicken. Bring the water to a boil and add the pasta briefly. But only briefly, as it will be cooked again and otherwise it will become far too soft. Pour the cream into a measuring jug and season to taste. (I like to add a little olive oil.) Once the meat is browned, add the cream and a little broth and let everything simmer for a while. I don’t always add all the broth at once; I always save some to add later. Add the Parmesan and stir well. Season again if necessary and add more broth. Depending on whether you prefer more or less sauce, you can add everything to a baking dish and top with more Parmesan or grated cheese. Then place the casserole in the oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can adapt the recipe and use feta cheese instead of Parmesan, or add vegetables.
