Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 57 minutes
For the dough, mix the flour, dry yeast, salt, and sugar and knead with the water and oil to form a smooth dough. This is best done using a food processor. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. In the meantime, cut the bell peppers into small, approximately 1 cm cubes. Brown the ground beef and season with salt, pepper, and sweet and hot paprika. Add the diced bell peppers and brown them as well. Cut the bacon into thirds and cut into approximately 5 cm strips. Season the tomato sauce with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Knead the dough briefly again and roll it out. Dust the work surface with flour, if desired. Brush the rolled out dough with the tomato sauce. Spread the ground beef and bell pepper mixture evenly on top, sprinkle with cheese, and top with bacon strips. Bake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat: 220°C, fan oven 200°C) on the middle rack for approximately 10-15 minutes.
