Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¾ liter of milk
  • ¾ cup semolina
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ bag lemon(s) – grated peel
  • cardamom
  • 250 g raisins
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 6 eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • e.g. oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

enough for about 50 pieces

Bring the milk and semolina to a boil. Let it cool slightly, then stir in the eggs. Mix the yeast with a little sugar, then add the flour. Stir in the semolina, lemon zest, salt, and cardamom. Add the raisins. Cover everything with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Then cut into small balls and fry them in batches in a preheated deep fryer.
