Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g French fries, frozen
  • 50 g sausage, e.g. salami or meat sausage
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tsp sour cream
  • 2 slices of processed cheese
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 300 ml water or milk
  • salt and pepper
  • some broth, instant, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Finely chop the sausage and onion and fry. Finally, add the finely chopped garlic, being careful not to burn it. Place the sausage, onion, and garlic in a medium-sized casserole dish and season with salt, pepper, and broth. Add the egg and sour cream and mix with the finely torn sliced cheese. Dissolve the flour in the water or milk. This works best in a washed-out jam jar: Add cold water or milk and flour, put the lid on, and shake well until all the flour has dissolved. Pour the water or milk-flour mixture into the casserole dish and mix well again. Finally, add the fries and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25-30 minutes.
