Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 150 g butter, room temperature
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 handful of chips (peanut crisps)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

as an amuse – gueule or aperitif – appetizers

Cream the butter with a mixer until fluffy. Gently toast the sesame and poppy seeds without fat until lightly browned, then let cool. Crumble the peanut crisps by hand. Mix everything together with the softened butter, season with salt and pepper (a little salt because of the saltiness of the crisps). Refrigerate. Serve with fresh bread instead of or alongside lard as an aperitif before dinner, or as a spread at a buffet.
