Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 large kohlrabi
- Salt
- 400 g sausage (hunting sausage), in one piece
- 20 g butter
- salt and pepper
- Fat for the mold
- 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Clean, peel, and wash the kohlrabi. First, cut into approximately 0.5 cm thick slices, then into sticks. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit). Cook the kohlrabi sticks in salted water for about 6 minutes. Cut the sausage into small cubes. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the cubes for about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Grease an ovenproof dish. Drain the kohlrabi sticks and add them to the dish along with the sausage. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven for about 7 minutes.
