Mediterranean stuffed meatballs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 stale roll
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 80 g feta cheese
  • 3 tomatoes
  • some basil, fresh
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Place the minced meat in a bowl. Squeeze the previously soaked bread roll well and add it to the minced meat. Now add the diced onion, salt, pepper, paprika, and egg, and knead everything together well. For the filling, peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and dice them. Dice the feta cheese, chop the basil, and mix everything together. Form the dough into 8 meatballs and add the filling. Fry in a pan with a little oil for about 5 minutes on each side.
