Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bunch arugula
  • 1 tbsp chives, fresh
  • 1 tsp rosemary, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 g beef steak(s), lean, cut into thin strips
  • some salt
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sliced ​​beef with arugula

Arrange the arugula leaves on two plates. In a small bowl, combine the chives, rosemary, and thyme and set aside. Heat a large, heavy-based skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil. Once hot, cook the beef pieces side by side for about 2 minutes, until browned on one side. Turn, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another minute. Arrange the pieces on the arugula leaves and sprinkle with the chopped herbs. Serve warm.
