Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 250 g butter
  • 125 g ground almonds
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp. clove powder
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • Grease for the trays
  • possibly chocolate for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine all other ingredients. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Spread onto two greased baking sheets (like yeast dough). Bake at 180°C for approximately 15-20 minutes. Slice while still hot after baking and decorate with chocolate, if desired.
