Beat the eggs and sugar until thick and creamy. Stir in the oil and milk. Mix the flour, cocoa, and baking powder together and add to the mixture. Mix everything together to form a smooth dough. Pour the batter into a 26cm baking pan and bake in a preheated oven (lower half of the oven) at 180°C fan/convection oven for about 20 minutes. Drain the pears and collect the juice. Place a cake ring around the cooled base. Arrange the pears on top. Mix the pear juice with the glaze and sugar and bring to a boil. Let cool for about 1 minute, then pour the glaze over the pears. Let it set. Whip the cream with cream stabilizer and cocoa powder until stiff and pour over the glaze. Carefully remove the cake ring. Sprinkle the cake with white chocolate shavings and arrange the chocolate hearts/sticks on top.
