Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 175 g cheese (sliced ​​cheese)
  • 2 apples
  • 2 smoked fish(s), e.g. kippers
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 large gherkin(s)
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 2 tsp, heaped herbs, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Prepare a spicy salad marinade with oil, vinegar, mustard, a little salt, some pepper, and the herbs. Cut the onion, apples, gherkin, and cheese into 1 cm cubes and add them to the marinade. Fillet the kippers, tear them into small pieces, and finally toss them into the salad. Let the salad marinate for a good hour. Serve with toast or brown bread.
