Salad with smoked tuna and buffalo mozzarella

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 balls of buffalo mozzarella
  • 100 g smoked tuna, sliced
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 mango(s)
  • 5 handfuls of mixed leaf lettuce
  • 100 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • pine nuts
  • Italian herbs, fresh or frozen, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Toast the pine nuts in a pan until brown and set aside. Slice the buffalo mozzarella. Cut the tuna into bite-sized strips. Peel the mango and avocado and finely dice the flesh. Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly and spin them dry. Add the oil to the freshly squeezed orange juice and mix well. Season with pepper, salt, and chili. Add Italian herbs, if desired. Mix the lettuce, mango, and avocado, toss with the dressing, and sprinkle with pine nuts. You can toss the mozzarella and tuna into the salad, or arrange both on the side of the plate and mix them as you like to ensure the flavors of the tuna and buffalo mozzarella are not lost. Serve with ciabatta.
