Schupfnudeln with asparagus in cheese sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g potato dumplings
  • 500 g asparagus, green
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 50 ml white wine
  • 100 ml milk
  • some vegetable broth
  • cl salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Fry the potato dumplings in a pan until they begin to brown. Meanwhile, chop the asparagus and spring onions and add them to the pan. Once the asparagus has browned, add the white wine and let it simmer. Then add the cheese and milk, and season to taste.
