Apple cider cake from the tray

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 375 g flour
  • 180 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 kg apples
  • 1 liter apple juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 packs of vanilla pudding powder
  • 600 ml whipped cream
  • cinnamon sugar

Sheet cake, without wine with little sugar

Quarter the apples, core them, and slice them. Knead the dough ingredients together well. Place the dough on a baking tray with a baking frame and pull up a rim of about 2 cm. Preheat the oven to 150°C fan/convection oven. For the topping, mix 250 ml of apple juice with the custard powder. Bring the remaining apple juice to a boil with the sugar, stir in the mixed custard powder, and bring to a boil again. Stir in the sliced ​​apples and spread the mixture over the dough. Bake the cake for 90 minutes, then let it cool in the oven. This also works great overnight. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and spread over the cold cake. Sprinkle the cream with a little cinnamon sugar. Half of the apple juice can also be replaced with apple cider.
