Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 6 large mushrooms
- 400 g minced meat, mixed
- ½ bell pepper(s), green, diced
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely diced
- 1 tbsp mustard, hot or medium hot
- 1 tsp, levelled black pepper from the mill
- ½ tsp salt and pepper
- some paprika powder, hot
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- ½ pack of feta cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
with minced meat, peppers, onions and feta cheese
Clean the mushrooms if necessary (with kitchen paper or a brush). Carefully break off the stems and place them in a small pan or saucepan with butter. Place the mushroom caps in a baking dish. Preheat oven to 170°C (top and bottom heat) (or 150°C fan-assisted). Filling: Mix the minced meat with the remaining ingredients (except the feta) and briefly pre-cook in a pan. This has the advantage of allowing the mushrooms to cook at a lower temperature in the oven. Then fill the mushroom caps with the minced meat mixture and arrange the feta strips on top. If you prefer your feta softer, place aluminum foil over the dish. The mushrooms need about 20-25 minutes in the oven. Tips: In the meantime, you can prepare a mixed salad and add the sautéed stems to the dish. If you like, you can also simply add a herb baguette to the oven 10 minutes before the end of the baking time. It goes perfectly with the mushrooms and requires no extra work!
