Pasta – minced meat – casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 200 g pasta (horn pasta)
  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 4 onions
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • 250 g tomato(s), pureed, with pieces
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 125g mozzarella

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Clean and wash the broccoli and divide it into florets. Peel thick stalks and chop finely. Sauté the broccoli in a little salted water for about 8 minutes. Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water. Clean and wash the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices. Peel and finely dice the onions. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the minced meat, onions, and mushrooms for about 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and bay leaf; bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the broccoli and pasta. Dice the mozzarella. Remove the bay leaves from the sauce. Layer the broccoli, pasta, and minced meat sauce in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with cheese cubes. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C fan oven) for about 20 minutes.
