Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg cauliflower, frozen
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 2 packs of cream (200 g each)
- 6 eggs
- 6 sheets of puff pastry, frozen
- e.g. salt and pepper
- e.g. nutmeg
- e.g. breadcrumbs
- 1 package of grated cheese, approx. 200 g, of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Cook the cauliflower in salted water until al dente. Combine the ground beef with 2 eggs, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs until a paste forms (I always season it the same way I season meatballs). Mix the cream with 4 eggs and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Line a large springform pan (28 cm diameter) with the puff pastry and spread the ground beef mixture on top. Place the cauliflower on top of the ground beef and pour the cream and egg mixture over it. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 1 hour.
