Pasta with parsley-walnut pesto and green beans

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pasta
  • 50 g parsley
  • 400 g green beans
  • some savory
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 g walnut kernels
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 10 tbsp nut oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta, such as spaghetti, according to the package instructions. Clean the beans, trim the ends, cut into pieces as desired, and cook with the savory for about 10 minutes. Then rinse with cold water. Roughly chop the parsley, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, and garlic, then blend with the oil in a blender until pesto is obtained. Season with salt, pepper, and the juice of half a lemon. Use more or less depending on the acidity of the lemon. Drain the pasta and serve with the beans and pesto.
