White wine sauce with mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 120 g mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Seasoning
  • ⅛ liter cream, fresh
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • ⅛ liter white wine (dry)
  • possibly sherry

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the mushrooms, slice them, and briefly fry them in butter. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and ground spice. Whisk the cream with the cornstarch and white wine. Stir into the mushrooms and bring to a boil. Season to taste and perhaps add sherry (if desired).
