Red cabbage with coconut butter

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g red cabbage
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tsp, heaped coconut puree, unsweetened
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely chop or shred the red cabbage. Heat the fat and either stir in the coconut butter right away or add it to the cabbage later. Add the red cabbage and sauté gently with the lid on. Season generously with salt, stir vigorously every now and then, and keep the lid closed. Cook until tender. If desired, stir the coconut butter into the cabbage at this point.
