Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, frozen
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 jar feta cheese, pickled
  • 150 ml Cremefine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 package of parsley, frozen
  • Garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • oil
  • 250 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 100 ml Cremefine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Spread out the puff pastry sheets. They will thaw quickly. Then cut the sheets in half. Brush the muffin tins with oil and carefully press the puff pastry pieces into the tin. Then add 2 pieces of feta to each tin. Now preheat the oven. Dice the onion and mix with the minced meat, season with salt and pepper. Fry the mixture in a pan with oil until crumbly. Now dice or chop the garlic, as well as half of the remaining feta cheese. Add both to the minced meat mixture along with the cream and mix. If the mixture is too soft, thicken it with a little flour. Add the parsley and season to taste. Now fill the muffins with the mixture, fold the excess pastry over the minced meat, and press down lightly. Bake at approx. 180°C for approx. 30 minutes, until golden brown. Meanwhile, bring the passata, remaining feta cheese, and Cremefine to a boil and season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir in the parsley and serve with the muffins. This also serves 4 as a main course.
