Cheeseburger muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 slices of processed cheese
  • 2 packs of bread dough (Knack and Back rolls)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 100 g iceberg lettuce
  • 6 gherkins
  • 3 slices of processed cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Grease a 12-hole muffin tin or line it with paper baking cups. For the burgers, peel and finely chop the onions. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the minced meat for about 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste, ketchup, and onions and fry for another 10 minutes. Add the cheese spread and let it melt. Set the pan aside. Divide the dough into pieces and press into the muffin tin. Fill each muffin with a spoonful of the meat mixture and bake in the hot oven for about 15 minutes. For the topping, slice the gherkins. Quarter the cheese spread. Cut the iceberg lettuce into thin strips. Top the muffins with cheese, iceberg lettuce, and gherkins and spread ketchup over them.
