Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 squid(s), whole
  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • ¾ liter tomato sauce
  • ½ liter of water or vegetable broth
  • 1 bunch parsley and chives, fresh or dried
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper, optional
  • 2 herring(s) or seafood, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Place the water, tomato sauce, and cod in a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer, stirring occasionally; the cod should be able to break down a little. Wash the squid and cut it into small pieces along with the tomatoes. Use the squid feet as well. Add the squid, tomatoes, tuna, kidney beans, and any herring or other seafood to the pot and simmer for about 20 minutes. Then reduce the heat to low. Squash in the avocado and let it simmer for another 5 minutes with the fresh, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.
