Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g beef, cut into thin slices
  • 3 large onions
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 shot of dry white wine
  • Caraway seeds
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 pinch of marjoram
  • 4 dl beef broth
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • 1 dashes olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Finely slice the onions and fry them with the bacon in a pan with a little oil, seasoning and allowing them to brown slightly. Brown the beef in a pan and season with salt and pepper. Add the onions and bacon and deglaze with a dash of white wine. Reduce slightly. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, caraway seeds, thyme, and marjoram, and pour in the beef stock. Simmer over low heat for at least 60 minutes, until the meat is tender. Season to taste and serve.
