Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 organic lemon(s)
  • 200 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Wash the lemon, grate the zest, and squeeze the juice. Knead the flour, sugar, lemon zest, salt, three tablespoons of lemon juice, egg, and butter into a dough and chill for one hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and line a baking tray with baking paper. Take walnut-sized pieces of dough, shape them into 5cm long rolls, and place them on the baking tray. Bake in the center of the hot oven for 10 minutes. Let cool. Mix the powdered sugar with a little lemon juice. Dip the lemon stalks halfway into the glaze and let the glaze dry. Melt the chocolate coating, dip the other half of the lemon stalks, and let the chocolate coating dry as well.
