Potato salad with a twist

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 900 g potatoes
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 large onions
  • 200 g crème fraîche, 30% fat
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 4 tbsp mustard
  • 5 tbsp herb vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • e.g. salt and pepper (gourmet pepper)
  • Dill or chives for garnishing
  • spice(s) as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

without mayonnaise and pickles

Peel the potatoes, cut them into chunks, and boil them. Meanwhile, quarter and slice the cucumber. Finely chop the onions and mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Finally, stir in the potatoes and let stand for about an hour. Season to taste or garnish with chives or dill before serving.
