Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 0.1 kg cheese (Gouda, Emmental)
- 0.1 kg flour (wheat flour 405)
- 0.1 kg bacon, rendered
- 0.1 liter of lukewarm water
- 0.05 kg breadcrumbs
- Pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- 0.05 kg butter or margarine
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Garlic
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Blend everything in a blender until a light batter forms. Bake in a waffle iron and keep warm (if you prefer them cold, let them cool on a wire rack). A variety of dips go well with them. My favorites are guacamole and/or exotic ones with pineapple or mango, etc. It’s all a matter of taste. You can also sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, etc., on the warm waffles.
