Ham – Cheese – Waffles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 0.1 kg cheese (Gouda, Emmental)
  • 0.1 kg flour (wheat flour 405)
  • 0.1 kg bacon, rendered
  • 0.1 liter of lukewarm water
  • 0.05 kg breadcrumbs
  • Pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 0.05 kg butter or margarine
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Garlic
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Blend everything in a blender until a light batter forms. Bake in a waffle iron and keep warm (if you prefer them cold, let them cool on a wire rack). A variety of dips go well with them. My favorites are guacamole and/or exotic ones with pineapple or mango, etc. It’s all a matter of taste. You can also sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, etc., on the warm waffles.
