Pasta with spinach and roasted pine nuts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 500 g spinach, frozen
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50 g pine nuts
  • some cheese, grated
  • nutmeg
  • Pepper, colorful
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thaw the spinach and cook the pasta according to the instructions. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Toast the pine nuts in a pan without oil. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic in a pan with a little oil. Add the thawed spinach and sauté over medium heat. After about 5 minutes, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and add the cooked, drained pasta to the spinach. Arrange the pasta on a plate and serve sprinkled with pine nuts and cheese.
