Buttermilk drink with peanuts and banana

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 2 bananas
  • 6 tbsp, heaped peanuts, shelled and roasted
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

refreshing, filling and nutty

In a tall container, mash the shelled peanuts with a hand blender (careful, they’ll shoot all over the place, so cover with a lid). Add the bananas and blend. Now add the buttermilk and sweeten to taste if the bananas aren’t sweet enough. I haven’t tried it with peanut butter yet, but it should taste good too. It’s quick and refreshing as a snack between meals.
