Mussels in wine sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 kg mussels
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, chunky
  • 1 bag(s) of spice mix (mussel spice)
  • Salt
  • n. B. water
  • 200 ml white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash and chop the carrots and leeks. Sauté them in a large pot. Deglaze with a little water (about 2 cm of the bottom should be covered with water). Add the mussel seasoning and salt. Rinse the mussels under running water, add them to the boiling stock, and cover the pot. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the wine and tomatoes, re-cover the pot, and let the mussels simmer for 5 minutes; do not boil. Serve with baguette.
