Mustard chicken

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 chicken, fresh
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp honey, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Wash the chicken, pat it dry, and trim any excess fat. Brush the chicken inside and out with the mustard. If you like, you can also mix the mustard with 1 tablespoon of honey and brush it all over the chicken. Place the chicken breast-side down on the grill and roast for 30 minutes. It’s best to place a baking tray underneath to catch any fat. Turn the chicken over and cook for another 30 minutes. Serve with a fresh salad.
