Thuringian bean and cucumber salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar beans (wax beans), drained weight 360 g
  • 1 medium-sized cucumber(s), approx. 350-400 g
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dill, fresh or dried
  • 5 spring onions
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain the wax beans and let them drain well, then place them in a large bowl. Finely chop the spring onions, peel and finely slice the cucumber, and add them to the wax beans. Season with dill, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, and vinegar. Add the crème fraîche and mix everything together. Tip: In summer, you can also use fresh beans.
