Chocolate Cemetery

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g flour
  • Chocolate, (4 medium-sized Santa Claus or Easter bunny hollow bodies)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Using leftovers for chocolate Santas or Easter bunnies

Preheat the oven to 150°C. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Break the chocolate into pieces and dissolve in the butter over low heat. Be careful not to burn. Remove from the heat, then stir in the flour and eggs. Grease and flour a round cake pan. Pour in the batter and bake for about 20 minutes. You can refine the batter further. For example, I had some leftover almond flakes, which I stirred in. The name of the cake comes from the fact that several Santas and Easter bunnies lose their lives for this. I usually bake it after the holidays. My colleagues, who don’t like chocolate Santas or Easter bunnies and sacrifice their chocolate for this, are always happy to see this use of leftovers. The amount of chocolate doesn’t really matter; I’ve used six pieces.
