Meatballs with sheep's cheese

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 150 g sheep’s cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Clarified butter
  • Herbs of Provence
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Finely dice the feta cheese. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Place the minced meat in a bowl, add the feta cheese, breadcrumbs, 3 egg yolks, and garlic, and knead well. Season with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs. Form the meat mixture into small balls and flatten. Melt the clarified butter in the pan. Fry the meatballs thoroughly on both sides. Serve with a mixed salad and herb baguette.
