Ingredients for 1 servings:

- salt water
- 50 g sour cream

- 1 carrot(s), if desired
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
as a main meal or side dish
Wash, peel, and dice the potatoes. Boil in salted water until tender. Since I keep the cubes small, this usually only takes 10 minutes. During this time, I put the sour cream, milk, and spices in a bowl. If you like, you can also refine it with herbs of your choice, or create a clever variation by cooking a carrot with the potatoes. When the potatoes are soft, drain the water and add the diced potatoes to the sour cream and milk. I puree everything with a hand blender until a fluffy potato cream forms. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. If you like, you can eat the mashed potatoes as a side dish or, like me, as a main meal. I can highly recommend my mashed potatoes, especially if you want to lighten the load one day or have had stomach/digestion problems. Please be careful with the Vegeta; it’s very salty. It’s better to season carefully and then add a little more.
