crumbly celery, fried

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g celeriac, cleaned and peeled
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • some salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • Sauce see my recipe in the DB

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

with zucchini and tomato sauce, a very quick meal, as I used my ready-made sauce in this case

Slice the celery and then dice it into approximately 8 mm cubes. This is best done with a vegetable cutter. Gently heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the celery cubes until golden brown on all sides, just like fried potatoes. This takes about 10 minutes. Then add 250 g of the sauce, mix, and heat through. Add a little salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Served with a dash of tzatziki, this makes a quick and delicious meal. I used my pasta sauce in stock: http://www.chefkoch.de/rezepte/2578051404203536/kruemeltigers-Nudelsosse-auf-Vorrat.html
