Cucumbers in dill cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp mustard (herb mustard)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • 100 ml cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Sugar
  • 1 bunch of dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, peel, and halve the cucumber, scoop out the seeds with a spoon, and cut into thin slices. Wash and dice the tomatoes. Peel and finely dice the onions. Mix the cucumber slices, diced tomatoes, and diced onions, sprinkle with salt, and let stand for about 20 minutes. For the sauce, combine the herb mustard with oil, vinegar or white wine, and cream. Season to taste and add the chopped dill. Drain the cucumber salad and toss the salad with the sauce.
