Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Rinse the mint, shake dry, pick off the leaves, and chop. Oil 10 metal skewers and form the meat into sausages around them. Beat the egg in a large, shallow dish with a fork and coat the skewers first in the egg, then in the remaining breadcrumbs. Refrigerate the skewers for at least 2 hours. Then grill the skewers over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, until cooked through.
