Rice: Rice Patties with Mushrooms

The perfect rice: rice patties with mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 tablespoon Cooked rice (rest)
  • 6 piece Brown mushrooms (remainder)
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 1 piece Fresh small onion
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped, roasted (remainder)
  • 25 g Cream cheese
  • 1 handful Finely chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Clarified butter
  1. Peel and finely dice the onion. Clean the mushrooms and cut into small slices. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the mushrooms until light brown. Just before the end of the roasting time, add the onions and let them brown a little.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the rice, the fried mushrooms, the egg, the almonds, the cheese and the parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Let the clarified butter melt in a pan and use a spoon to put small heaps into the hot lard. Press a little flat and slowly fry until golden on both sides.
  4. Place the desired side dish – here it was carrot vegetables – on a preheated plate and garnish with a little parsley.
