Vegetable Stew with Kassler Free Snout

  • 1 huge Cabbage
  • 3 medium-sized Carrots
  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 2 middle Onions
  • 0,5 liter Vegetable stock
  • 50 gr Spelled flour
  • 0,25 liter Milk
  • 1 full heaped tablespoon Butter
  1. Clean and chop all the vegetables .. Peel and chop the onions. Fry a little in a saucepan but only lightly.
  2. Dice the vegetables either small but not too small with the knife. I took a vegetable cutter, any way you want.
  3. Cut the pointed cabbage larger. Also peel and dice the potatoes.
  4. Add the diced carrots to the onions. Put butter on top and stir well. Then a little later the potatoes. And finally, fry the cabbage in a little rapeseed oil.
  5. Then add the butter and numb with the flour. Mix everything well.
  6. Then add the broth and then add the milk. You can also use cream, but at least we have to be careful.
  7. I added celery salt and some pepper to the spices. We didn’t need more.
