TUC Savory Biscuits, Make It Yourself
The perfect tuc savory biscuits, make it yourself recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Wheat flour type 550
- 3 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 90 g Soft butter
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 80 ml Water, little by little
- 40 g Butter
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- Preheat the oven to 200 °.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Work in the butter with your hands until a crumbly mass is formed. Add the oil and continue kneading with your hands. Then pour in approx. 30 ml of water, knead and check the consistency. Tilt the already slightly moist dough onto a work surface and continue to pour in small amounts of water and knead until a shiny, smooth, elastic, but not sticky dough is formed. I needed about 50 ml of the 80 ml.
- Clean the work surface and cover with baking paper the size of the tray. Halve the amount of dough, place one half in the center of the paper and roll it out to a thickness of about 2 mm using a rolling pin. Rub out small rectangles with a corrugated wheel and pierce them several times. Prepare the other half of the dough on another baking paper and keep it ready. Now place one of the baking paper with the prepared dough sheet on the tray and slide it into the oven on the middle rail. Baking time 10-15 minutes. Crackers should be golden brown.
- Remove the baking paper from the tray, bake the second portion. Place the baked crackers including the paper on a grid. Separate everyone from each other. Remove the uneven edges and just eat them. Melt the butter with the salt in a saucepan and immediately spread it on the crackers that are still hot. When the butter is absorbed, brush again and allow to cool.
- Do the same with the 2nd sheet. The above amount results in a portion of about 50 pieces.
- Well then happy nibbling fun ………….. 😉
